Welcome to 100 Hrs ITT of Bhubaneswar Branch of EIRC of ICAI

Information Technology Training is a compulsory programme of 100 hours spread over 25 days at the rate of 4 hours per day. The training will be treated as part of practical training. Keeping in line with the image of IT capital, the Branch owns a modern-day Computer Lab to cater for the training needs of students. A student of Professional Competence Course shall undergo 100 hours of Information Technology Training before appearing in Professional Competence Examination.

Features of the Course are as follows :-

•  Considering the improvement in the knowledge level of the students in the field of Information Technology at the school level, it has been decided to reduce the duration of computer training from 250 hours to 100 hours.

•  The training components would focus on application softwares relevant for accounting and auditing. In addition, knowledge of Electronic Spread Sheet, Database Management System, Web-Technology and System Security and maintenance are strengthened.

•  The 100 Hours ITT has been linked to theoretical knowledge imparted through Article 5 Section A : Information Technology (50 Marks). It has planned to synchronise theoretical knowledge with practical training.

When Student can attend

This  course  should  be  undergone  by  a  student  who  has  taken  admission  to Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).   A student is issued registration letter for 100 Hours ITT automatically after registering for IPCC. Before   registering   for articled  training,  a student  has   to complete  ITT  with  an accredited Branch.

Existing students who have registered for the erstwhile Intermediate Course and completed their articled training and then converted to IPCC, shall produce ITT completion certificate at the time of registration for Final Course.

Existing students who have registered for erstwhile Intermediate Course and then appeared in Professional Education (Examination – II) and then converted to IPCC, shall produce ITT completion certificate at the time of registration for articled training. Compulsory Computer Training (CCT) completed earlier is valid in IPCC also.

Existing students who have initially registered for the Professional Education (Course – II) and then switched over / switching over to IPCC, shall produce ITT completion certificate at the time of joining for articled training or if the articled training continuing/completed, produce ITT completion certificate at the time of registration for Final Course. CCT completed earlier is valid in IPCC also.

Existing students who have initially registered for the Professional Education (Course – II) and then switched over to Professional Competence Course (PCC) and then to IPCC, shall produce ITT completion certificate at the time of  rejoining for balance period of articled training or if the articled training continuing, produce ITT completion certificate at the time of registration for Final Course. CCT completed earlier is valid in IPCC also.

Existing students who have registered initially for PCC and then switched over to IPCC, shall produce ITT completion  certificate at the time of rejoining for balance period of articled training or if the articled training continued, produce ITT completion certificate at the time of registration for Final Course.

•  Seats availability first come first serve basis.

Course Fee : Rs. 4,000/- per student(Only by DD) DD in favour of Bhubaneswar Branch of EIRC of ICAI
